For any footballer to succeed in his career, he needs to be fit. This means working out, exercising and maintaining a very healthy diet. In the cause of playing, all the muscles are put in active duty as you you turn jump and run.

Instead of eating heavy meals 3 times a day , you can break them up into 6 small meals. Drink lots of water, 8 – 10 cups everyday. Don’t just drink water when eating alone. It is advisable you drink one or two cups when you wake up and while going to sleep. Do not eat plenty of carbohydrates, eat fish, chicken and fresh fruits. Avoid fatty foods entirely.
Getting enough sleep each night is one thing you also need. Every adult needs about 8 hours of sleep.
